Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the basis on which all personal information/data that Quantum Management Services Ltd., Quantum Technology Recruiting Inc., and Alternacare Inc. (collectively “Quantum”) collects.

Quantum respects the privacy concerns of every individual; more specifically, this policy applies to job seekers, candidates, temporary assignment employees and visitors to our website. The intention of this policy is to ensure a clear understanding of the personal information/data gathered and the ways in which that information will be used.

How do we identify “Personal Information”?

In this policy, "Personal Information/Data" means any information about an identifiable individual which includes name, home address, resume, references, education and work experience, and other job-related information. Personal Information/data does not include business contact information when used to contact an individual in his/her business capacity.

Principle One – Accountability

Quantum is responsible for personal information/data under its control. A designated individual is accountable for compliance with our Ten Privacy Principles.

Principle Two - Identifying Purposes for which Personal Information Is Collected

We identify the purpose for which we collect, use and disclose Personal Information/Data at or before the time of collection and will collect only information necessary for the identified purposes. We comply with this principle by, among other steps, making this Privacy Policy available to individuals.

Your knowledge and consent are required for the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information/data, except where inappropriate or permitted by law. Depending on the sensitivity of the information, this consent can be implied or expressed; however, Quantum shall attempt to obtain express consent wherever commercially feasible. You may withdraw your consent for any of the identified purposes at any time, subject to legal and/or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. If you would like to access your Personal Information we have on file, you must do so in writing, directed to the Privacy Officer, as stated above. We will make every effort to respond to your request within 30 days. You may be subject to disbursement fees and charges associated with retrieving your Personal Information, should the need arise. When we provide you with this information, please ensure to advise us of any inaccuracies so we may update accordingly. We will provide you with a copy of the information you request, but we ask that you be detailed in your request. If, for some reason we are unable to provide you with information, we will provide an explanation.

Our Websites Digital Traffic: How We Will Collect Visitors Information and What Is The Information Used?

In order to ensure our users’ have the best experience on our Quantum websites, we use third party cookies through Google Analytics (a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic) to collect and track non-intrusive online transactions such as browser type, screen resolution, device type, etc. We use this information to determine trends, user frequency and to determine how to improve our user experience. This information is never stored on our internal servers, rather, monitored through our Google Analytics account to ensure anonymity. Quantum is not held responsible for what data each external site collects once a user clicks out of our website. Each external link is subject to their own terms of usage, privacy policy and any additional guidelines. We suggest if you have any concerns about any of the external sites listed above to review their guidelines and contact the website’s support or customer service for more information.
